Files and documents
The library is more than storage. An uploaded document is parsed into text, and after that its content takes part in search and in AI answers on equal terms with your notes.
What you can upload
- Documents: PDF, Word, Excel, presentations, spreadsheets.
- Images - including scans and photos of text.
- Audio and video - speech is recognised into text.
Used storage is visible on the same page where you upload files. The limit depends on your plan and is shown in advance.
Recognition
Text is extracted from documents and speech from audio and video. The result is stored next to the file, so you can find what you need by a phrase from inside the document, not just by file name.
Once recognised, a file becomes a source for AI chat: the answer to your question will carry a link to that exact document, and you can open and verify it.
Order in the library
Files can live in folders and be attached to notes, tasks and events. The same document can be attached to several entities - no copies are created.
