Cookie notice

Which cookies Vio sets, what they are for and how to opt out of the optional ones.

Version of 8 August 2026

1. What these are

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Alongside them we use browser local storage: technically a different mechanism with the same purpose, so we describe them together.

2. Essential

The site does not work without them, so they are always set and require no separate consent.

  • Session token — keeps you signed in across pages, until you sign out.
  • Your chosen theme (light or dark) — kept until you clear the browser.
  • Your answer to this notice — so we don't ask again.
  • Technical markers protecting against automated abuse.

3. Analytics

These help us understand which sections get used and where visitors get lost. They load only after your consent: before you press «Accept analytics» no counters are loaded at all.

  • Yandex.Metrica (Yandex LLC) — traffic and on-page behaviour. Retention up to 12 months.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — traffic and referral sources. Retention up to 14 months.

4. How to opt out

  • Press «Essential only» in the notice — analytics will not load.
  • If you already decided, clear the site data in your browser settings: the notice reappears and you can change your choice.
  • You can disable cookies entirely in your browser, but then signing in to your personal space will not work.

For more on what data we process and why, see the privacy policy.
